Plastimark-W is a plastic compound created by fabrication company Plastimark, made from a base of plastic material blended with wood fibres.
It was unveiled at Euroshop 2017, the global retail trade fair running 5 to 9 March in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The natural character of the wood is merged with the sturdiness and technical performance of thermoplastic polymers, creating a one-of-a-kind compound which can meet the new needs of the market and offer customers a more compelling shopping experience.
The wood fibres used for this compound are the result of careful analysis and selection of production waste.
The new eco-friendly material, with a low environmental impact, can help improve retailers' shopping experience.
