Nutella Develops 'Nutella Lamp' Upcycling Concept

Italian confectionery company Ferrero has created a new lamp from a jar of the Nutella hazelnut spread.

The one-off product has been created with Up-Cycling, a creative recycling concept through which new products are reused in different fields.

The bright Nutella jar has been decorated with the innovative glass decoration technology called sublimation, developed by Italy’s Cerve Group.

An on/off button and 6 LED lights have been fitted in the white top of the Nutella jar, which functions as a battery-powered lamp. Alternatively, it can be connected to an energy source using a micro USB connector.

The Nutella lamp is decorated with famous icons of the brand and will be available in Italy from October with the purchase of a 825gr or 1kg jar of the hazelnut cream spread.
