Swiss forecourt retailer Migrol AG and start-up autoSense have developed the autoSense Fuel App, which enables customers to pay for fuel with their smartphones.
The autoSense Fuel App can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store and App Store and is available in German, French, Italian and English.
"We are very pleased to offer this innovative, unique service in Switzerland together with Migrol", said Jaap Vossen, CEO of autoSense.
Accelerated Refuelling Process
Using the app, the customer can locate the nearest Migrol petrol station and once there, select and activate the fuel dispenser. After refuelling, the payment is automatically made via stored credit card or the Migrol fuel card.
Moreover, the app informs about all payment transactions, as well as mileage.
"We implement solutions that network cars and forecourt stores, and are therefore tailored to the needs of our customers. Together with autoSense, we are taking a step into a mobile future," said Simon Jossi, head of mobility at Migrol.
Further Benefits
Using the app, customers can also view the current fuel prices at all Migrol petrol stations.
Customer payment data is neither accessible to autoSense nor to third parties and except from the receipts stored in the app, payment data is not stored in the autoSense Fuel App or on the company's servers.
