Système U, one of the leaders of e-commerce in France, has unveiled its newly revamped and restructured website, which the retailer is confident will boost its internet sales, lsa-conso.fr reports.
The new interface places emphasis on friendliness, and the degree to which shoppers can personalise their shopping experience through it. Furthermore, there is a search bar on the website’s homepage which allows users to quickly find their nearest Système U click-and-collect point.
From a visual perspective the new-look site has been made to look more modern and more welcoming. It has a new slogan: "Le commerce qui profite à tous" (“Shopping that works for everyone”).
In 2014 Système U’s click-and-collect accounted for 2.2 per cent of its overall sales (€407 million), up 15.9 per cent in volume on 2013.
