British online supermarket and technology company Ocado said a small fire was reported at its customer fulfilment centre in Erith on Wednesday evening.
The London Fire Brigade attended to it and the fire has been extinguished, Ocado said in a statement on Thursday.
The incident comes months after a fire hit Ocado's flagship robotic distribution centre in Andover in southern England.
The Andover fire, at a flagship robotic warehouse for the group, led Ocado to announce a profit warning at the time. Prior to the blaze the Andover centre was providing about 10% of Ocado's UK capacity.
In July, Ocado reported a 46% fall in first-half core earnings, citing both the Andover fire as well as accounting changes and the cost of share schemes.
