Eroski's loyalty programme, Eroski Club, has reached the landmark of three million members.
According to revistaaral.com, growing Eroski Club is a core element of Eroski's new 'Contigo' business model, which the Spanish retailer recently outlined in its strategic plan to grow the company. Cardholders receive special advantages such as special prices in over 3,000 products, exclusive offers and discounts.
Martin Gandiaga, marketing director of Eroski, says "Eroski Club is more than a loyalty card, it is the key to try new concepts that facilitate purchasing and saving, adapted to each member's interests."
Eroski Club said that its 3 millionth member was a customer of an Eroski supermarket in Vigo's García Barbón Avenue. Marta Moreira Texeira, the lucky customer, will receive 100 euros a month for a year on her Eroski Club card.
