Finnish dairy company Valio has been recognised as one of Finland’s most reputable companies, according to the annual Reputation & Trust survey conducted by T-Media.
Each year, the study reveals the most trustworthy firms in the country, based on how they relate to the environment and society, including administration, management, products and services, innovativeness, financial performance, interaction and attractiveness as an employer.
In this year's survey, Valio's reputation increased from 3.59 to 3.65, on a scale of one to five. Despite this strong performance, Valio fell from sixth to tenth position overall in 2017.
According to the survey, the dairy group's strengths include launching interesting new products and its benefits for milk production and society.
The company says that in future it aims to make its responsible acts increasingly visible, operate in a transparent way and invest in the interaction with various stakeholders.
Finland's top ten most reputable companies also includes Google, S-Group, and Kone.
