Packaging manufacturer Verallia Italia has announced that it has sold its Algerian operations, Alver, to Condor Electronics.
Alver has been a subsidiary of Verallia since 2011. It employs 360 people and provides glass bottles and jars for Algeria’s food and beverage market.
Condor Electronics primarily operates in the electronics, automotive and renewables sector. With locations in 16 countries, the group employs around 15,000 employees.
Marco Ravasi, chief executive of Verallia Italia, said, “Condor Electronics is part of a dynamic, internationally focused Algerian industrial group, which will provide Alver with an environment to pursue its manufacturing project.”
